Intro

Hello blogosphere!

My name is Brianna Aloisio. I am lucky enough to be an intern this summer for Runa beverage company for the New England headquarters. Runa is a beverage brewed just like a tea from a treeleaf called guayusa. Guayusa is a treeleaf found in the Ecuadorian amazon. Guayusa has twice the amount of antioxidants as a normal green tea but naturally the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. So it's a superleaf!
Runa is such a cool company to work for. The co-founders are these two young Brown grads that started Runa as a mock business plan in one of their classes. Runa is based out of Brooklyn, NY now but we are in 4000 stores across the country.
Runa also has a super cool foundation in Ecuador where the mission statement of creating livelihoods really comes into action. The indigenous Quecha people of the amazon are who introduced the amazing culture of guayusa to Tyler and Dan (co-founders). Runa in Quecha means fully alive.  Check us out! www.runa.org

So this summer part of my job is to bring awareness of Runa to the Boston/New England area. We are all over New England so be sure to follow us and check us out at various events and demos at most natural food stores. Runa is always open to suggestions of where we should be so shoot me an email if you have any feedback! Brianna.aloisio.runa@gmail.com
I will be posting some really exciting things here this summer from the work of all the fantastic people on the New England team so be sure to stay updated on some interesting and thrilling opportunities!

¡Hasta pronto!
Brianna
